The Plight of the Perpetually Lost Knickers

How long do you think it will take me to remember that, for the first time in 42 years, my knickers do not live in the top drawer of the chest of drawers?

I’d move them to the top drawer, but it’s very shallow and inadequate for the task of housing knickers, bras and socks.

I tried having just the knickers in the top drawer, then kept forgetting where bras and socks were.

So – it is best if they are all in the same drawer.

But I keep forgetting and going to the wrong place.

It's very disconcerting.....

I suppose a post-it note type draw label is out of the question until you get used to your new routie?

      One post it note for each letter, and bright fluorescent colours?
      
      Might work.
      
      But I might close my eyes on account of the strain on the eyes first thing.

We've started packing for the move but have left //some// clothes out.

Do you think I can remember where I've put the shorts I didn't pack?

I lose socks...they drive me up the wall, I pop them down the side of a sweater drawer and they are forever coming out with one missing and it's a huge drawer to turn out and search for the other one, so just scrabble around until I come up with a pair instead...don't know how many are just single ones now...never lose knickers, in same drawer, but no worries about bras...stopped wearing the darned things when a hippy and never went back to them...I have some but one hour in them and I'm so uncomfortable like being in a straight jacket, they're back in the drawer again...LOL...

It's all about patterns, it always takes a me a gazillion times before I actually adopt and adapt to the new pattern or schedule or routine....sheesh

  Temper once in a blue moon (and it's spectacular when I do, and it takes ages to recover from.)
