A friend (male) is coming to visit.
He doesn’t know his way around this city.
I described how to get here, (it’s not difficult, but has one or two catches for the unwary!) and offered to send written directions.

“I’ll find it on Multi Map” he announced confidently.
“You might be better looking on the AA Route-finder.” I cautiously suggested.
“Don’t know about that.” (He’s fairly technologically and internet challenged…I don’t think he knows what Sat-Nav is!)

Moment of silence.

“I’ll have my mobile phone if I get lost!”
“Um. Will you have my number?”

Another moment of silence.

“See you soon, bye.”

Now, do I

(a), just print out the directions, and post them. (E-mails need a phone call to remind him to check them!) For my peace of mind.

(b) Persuade a mutual friend to give him directions!

(c) Pray hard.

(d) Hope for the best.

(e) Suggest we meet at his house! (Except he wants to see my new place…)
