There's exciting! There is a pear tree in the garden. Actually, I'm sure I knew about it before, but had forgotten about it until I caught three respectable, responsible grown ups, (well, they are older than me) all picking pears after a meeting today from the other side of the fence. I so wish I'd had a camera to catch the guilty looks. I'd best do some pear picking before Sunday and take them to share, because there's no way I'll eat a tree full.

I felt like I'd been skiving all day today, but whilst I didn't get done that which I had intended today, I have taken on extra hours at work at very short notice, and it can all be done on Thursday.

And now, to sleep.
